DUE: Wednesday, Nov. 11th

Read pages 28- 46 in Jackie Battenfield’s "Artist Guide"

Assignment 9: Applying for Opportunities + Slide Script

1)    Find a current artist opportunity, such as exhibition or artist residency and apply for it. A copy of this application will go in your final binder.        

2)    Shoot new slides and develop a portfolio of 8 images.  Write a slide description list, or slide script, for these images.  Save slide script as .pdf and a .doc file. Bring to class on Wed. NOV 11th.
Follow guidelines for slide labeling from CAA site, then also include work description with each thumbnail. See sample slide script on blackboard.

3)   Format your images as .jpeg, 150 dpi @ 5” x 7”, RGB color
Upload your images to your flickr photostream prior to Nov. 11th class.
